Bang! Apple finds a niche

Apple posts trailer for 'Bang! The Bert Berns Story,' coming to Apple Music Oct. 24

A show about the 70s music business, Vinyl, had a killer debut season.

I think the real reason for not renewing it is because (A) Game of Thrones final season is costing HBO so much to produce, and (B) The new Boss at HBO, a numbers guy, can't handle his job.

Apple should pick-up Vinyl for their new movie production company!

Vinyl was a million times better than "The Deuce," a new series about the porn industry during the 70s in Times Square, that is currently running on HBO.

Watching The Deuce is like watching paint dry.

Lame reason for not renewing Vinyl

Few series exemplify HBO's current struggle to launch major hits like Martin Scorsese's Vinyl, to fall flat with such a wide range of top-tier talent, and have a Season 2 renewal rescinded by the network. Now, HBO boss Casey Bloys explains the difficult decision, noting "it would only move the needle a little bit."
