Apple post-split price targets are up 9%

Forget the iWatch. Headphones are the original wearable tech

Headphones are superior for collecting biometric information, including blood pressure, heart rate, ECG, and core body temperature, experts say.

Whether its through the ear, wrist or ear, I believe there will be choice, when it comes to wearables from Apple that will monitor vital signs and eventually aid with hearing, maybe even heart & diabetes issues.

Hundreds gather for the opening of Apple Store in Madrid (photo gallery)

Good video of store opening including use of historic hospital ruins below ground

The dark, rich color palate of the newest Apple flagship store reminds me of Burberry stores

Perfect for rehabbing the old historic structures like this one that Apple likes.

It's also a little like the color palate of Restoration Hardware's new stores.

I'm eager to see what Angela Arhendts does with the Apple retail mall stores

Video of the surprising interior of the new Puerta del Sol Apple Store

The Madrid Apple Store building has an unexpected atrium

The bare stacked stone columns are very interesting.

The stones are rough cut from the quarry on the interior and smooth cut and sanded on the exterior of each stone.

The raw stone is unexpected, clean and contemporary, yet ancient at the same time.

Photos of the "masculine" interior of the Puerta del Sol Apple Store

Why it took awhile: a dramatic then and now photo, oh, and there was a historic ruins beneath the building they had to preserve.

I believe Apple also rehabbed the building they moved the Tio Pepe sign atop.

You're welcome, Madrid.

Hopefully others will follow Apple's lead.
