Hard to believe there still hasn't been an official launch of the Apple Watch up to now, but that's the case in an extremely long roll-out of Apple's newest device that will supposedly launch sometime this month in Apple Stores.

Would Steve Jobs have liked the way this was handled?

Well, a similar pattern of events occurred when he introduced the first iPhone in 1997.

One would think if Apple says jump, everybody would jump, but it doesn't work that way.

It's still a hard slog for Apple to break new ground.

Zif Davis publishing has never been an Apple supporter, usually an Anti-Apple-Pro-Microsoft enterprise cheerleader, so for them to say anything begrudgingly positive about Apple is a miracle.

Maybe they're beginning to see the writing on the iPad.

Actually, they still don't get it, but it's interesting to see them struggle for words of feint praise for Apple while they hold up laudatory words of great hope for Windows 10 devices.
