Tim Cook and Elon Musk met with Trump in a Private Meeting

after President-Elect Trump Met with Silicon Valley's Elite,

Apple and Tesla represented the only two companies at the table who actually manufacture things here.

You can see how Tesla does that below, with robots.

Apple and partner Foxconn will build devices in a similar fashion in the US by first building the robots to assemble those devices.

I suppose Apple will take the approach they take with the Mac Pro: It's assembled here in the US with many parts imported.

The raw materials for those devices have to be gathered abroad and sub-assembled abroad, so Apple and Foxconn will want import taxes dropped dramatically on those sub assemblies.

There is a huge lack of qualified engineers in this country, so to make things here, engineers will have to be immigrated from other countries until the US can produce more and better engineers to make and look after the robots.

Eventually, robots will make and look after the robots.

Very odd that Trump's daughter and two sons were seated together at the table and appear in a CNN camera sweep of the room.

They were probably there so they could explain to their father what happened during the meeting.
