  • Developer earnings from the App Store are up 40% since August 2016, growing from about $50 billion to $70 billion.

I think they used dead trees to get an idea what size of live trees they will need.

They did something similar at Apple The Fashion Mall at Keystone, using wooden mock-ups made with lumber to decide how large the real trees should be.
