What new iPhones do to Apple's shares

Google and Samsung are bribing and kicking back 10 times the amount of money Apple spends on lobbying, etc.

That is "Apple's problem" in China, the US and elsewhere.

They just don't pay big enough bribes. (see tech lobbying spending graph)

Is that what Wall Street expects of Apple, to be more criminal?

Apple doesn't have anyone to copy, hence they have to pay for the R&D that Samsung and Google steal from them.

Is that the signal "Wall Street" is sending, spend more money on bribes and less on R&D?

Apple makes the world better.

Google and Samsung are no better than international crime organizations, stealing Apple's technology, then buying the world's governments' protection.

It's the only reason Microsoft has stayed on top as long as they have.

They steal Apple's technology then pay bribes to government and Enterprise buyers.

If you ever wondered what function Eric Schmidt performs at Google, lookup "bagman."

I hope this is going to happen, but I'm going to be surprised if there is a China Mobile phone yet this year

It would be the biggest iPhone deal ever, seven times larger than the one with Verizon.

Is China Mobile's network ready for the iPhone?

China Mobile may postpone iPhone launch to complete TDD-LTE network

According to KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, China Mobile will introduce Apple's iPhone to its 700 million subscribers by the end of the year, but the world's largest telecom first needs to finish rolling out its TDD-LTE network, a task that could delay the phone's launch until November...

So whereas Android is growing very rapidly, there is a question of reliability of that audience. Engagement is one thing, but in the market which shows highest penetration (and deepest distribution of an alternative) Android is peaking.

Federal judge ties Apple's hands on book pricing

"Apple did not conspire to fix e-book pricing. The iBookstore gave customers more choice and injected much-needed innovation and competition into the market. Apple will pursue an appeal of the injunction,"  Apple spokesman Tom Neumayer said.
