This guy was misguidedly fearing entirely the wrong company.

Why the man who coined the phrase 'net neutrality' feared Apple

Tim Wu told the New York Times in 2010 that Apple was a threat to the Internet.

The Phone/wireess companies (Cough! AT&T & Verizon) and the cable companies (Cough! Comcast & TimeWarner) came a big step closer to owning the internet on Wednesday.

This Comcast tower  illustration below reminds me of the AOL/Time Warner tower that was going up in New York at the same time their stock crashed in 2000.

The AOL/Time Warner Towers were built on the misfortune and pain of their investors, and the Comcast tower will be built on the misfortune and pain of their subscribers.

Comcast investors beware !

This is where Comcast's rate increases are going, to build this Comcast cathedral, not to provide better service and faster speeds.

Comcast to build 1.2 Billion dollar 59 story tower

"Designed by Lord Norman Foster and developed by Liberty Property Trust to achieve LEED Platinum Certification, the 59-story tower will include a Four Seasons Hotel. Thousands of jobs and billions of dollars of economic activity will be created in Philadelphia and the Pennsylvania commonwealth."
