Apple's iPhone is King of Manhattan and major first world cities

This usage mapping has been around for awhile

My take:  The cities have Apple stores; small US towns and big third world countries like India have only carrier stores.

Newark, New Jersey isn't "The Burbs" It's an industrial slum and a wasteland like Detroit, MI and Gary-Hammond, IN.

My speculation as to where Apple's new head of retail has been hiding.

If they do it right this time, her contribution could be huge.

By comparison, New York is the 22nd largest city in the world (if only counting the 5 boroughs) 

There is plenty of market share for Apple to gain and grow not only with iPhone, but iPad and Mac.
