I read somewhere else that the judge for the DOJ in this case was Denise Cote, the same judge that found against Apple in the iBooks fiasco she helped Amazon engineer.

Looks like she's covering for Spotify, Pandora and YouTube now.

There should be an investigation and judicial review of this judge and her henchman, Michael Bromwich.

US declines Sony, Universal bids to remake music royalties




Apple proposed a flat streaming rate that would be more akin to broadcasting royalties in order to benefit music copyright holders.

Spotify, Pandora and YouTube were having none of that.
