If you think this looks like an early Apple Macintosh screen, there's a reason for that.

Tim Berners-Lee worked at Steve Jobs' NeXT, the computer company Jobs founded after leaving Apple.

Berners-Lee wrote the code to create the "world wide web" on a NeXT computer.

When Jobs returned to Apple in 1997, he brought many of the NeXT and NeXTSTEP OS engineers with him, who eventually created Mac OSX, based somewhat on the NeXT OS.
