Apple's CFO prior to Maestri, Peter Oppenheimer, thought Carl Icahn's buy backs were a terrible idea and would only benefit traders like Icahn, but once they initiated buybacks, a 7-1 split, and returned to paying dividends, the stock came back up.

The old Abercrombie store should be a perfect site for a much needed, larger, and Jony Ive designed Keystone Apple Store, which has always been one of the top performing Apple Stores on a per square foot basis in the US.
