Nancy Pelosi expresses disappointment over Tim Cook's GOP fundraiser



Engaging in a bit of political posturing this week, U.S. House of Representatives Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi offered a — surprisingly condescending — takedown of Apple CEO Tim Cook's fundraiser for House Speaker Paul Ryan and other Republican candidates. 




Apple Music turns one year old with 15 million subscribers on board and a redesign on the way






WRONG: She shouldn't have lumped Apple together with Amazon and Google. 

Both Amazon and Google notoriously ripoff artists, authors and content creators.

Spotify, a foreign Swedish company, has been a huge abuser by not paying artists and writers royalties for 10 years. 

They only started paying royalties when Apple Music got into streaming which forced them to pay royalties to retain artists.

Apple Music is just one year old today.

Dems are mad that Tim Cook held a fund raiser for Paul Ryan the Republican Speaker of the House. 

The reason that Cook did that was to start a conversation in Congress fro tech companies to repatriate profits from abroad at a reasonable tax rate that will benefit all tech companies and eventually the American taxpayers, individuals as well as corporations.

Tax legislation has to originate in The House of Representatives.
