Somebody asked me about 10 years ago why I put news about electric cars and cell phones in my Apple news emails.
I think I said, "Because that's where Apple is going," and I really thought that they, Apple, would be closer to unveiling their car by now, but the iPhone, the Apple WATCH, and things I'm sure I'm unaware of, have put them behind schedule on the AppleCAR.
However, they did integrate iOS and Siri technology with CarPlay into many makes and models to eliminate using a handheld iPhone while driving.
An AppleCAR is still a long way off, with estimates as distant as 3 to 5 years.
Apple needs to get on the stick, because that will still be a good 13 to 15 years behind Tesla.
