There is plenty of new upscale housing development in the immediate vicinity to support the larger new Apple store.

They had better hurry up if they're going to open this year though, because as of Oct 10, 2016 they're still just moving dirt around at the hotel site.

I think the planned size of the hotel project increased greatly this past year to accommodate more convention lodging.

This hotel will sit directly across the street from The Quarry at River North apartment complex adjacent to the Glick building.

The other large development project just down the street from Apple The Fashion Mall at Keystone opened last year, and is adding more density with an additional building this year.
