Intel still holding back intentionally or can't produce new chips!

Is the Apple Thunderbolt display worth it?

I'd like to see Apple update it, but I don't think that'll happen right away. Apple's newest hotness is the 5K iMac, which came out in late 2014. That device uses a screen with such high resolution that there isn't a Mac that has an external interface that can handle it. That won't happen until Apple updates Macs with Intel Skylake processors, which aren't expected to go into distribution until later this year. There's no guarantee that Apple's going to be early with Skylake-equipped Macs, either.

Why there will be lines for a $10,000 gold Apple Watch

...For example, the entry level gold watch — 38mm 18-Karat Rose Gold with a white sport band — retails in the U.S. for $10.000. The same watch is listed on Apple's Chinese website for RMB 74,800 ($12,045). Beijing imposes a 17% value added tax. Hong Kong does not.

The Killer app for the Apple Watch, besides owning one, is stealth communication between BFFs.

Comcast denies talking with Apple about TV service

...The real kicker is that Apple may not even need to approach Comcast to get NBCUniversal's content. As Recode notes, when Comcast merged with NBCUniversal in 2010, they agreed to license their content to any online distributor if said distributor had deals in place with NBCUniversal competitors.

Gary Allen, #1 Apple Retail Store follower/reporter,  calls it quits after 15 years for his ifoAppleStore blog

My work here is done

...I've visited over 140 stores around the world. I even drove cross-country back in 2011 to celebrate the chain's first store. Along the way, I have enjoyed every experience and personal encounter. I've met and corresponded with people from every continent who share my enthusiasm for Apple, its employees and products. Back in 2001, It seemed like I was the only person studying the stores. In fact, most onlookers were skeptical of the stores' future success.
