The mask is coming off. Let's stop calling it Motorola, it's Google.  Google is filing suit.  

Google paid over $12.5 Billion in a bidding war against Apple and MS for Motorola patents and backed Samsung to copy the iPhone.  

Google was invited by MS and Apple et al to be part of the Nortel patent purchase but declined and decided to go it alone

The important parts of these two "Kodak patents" were technology that Apple provided while working with Kodak on the early Apple QuickTake cameras that Apple should rightly own in the first place, but some NY judge (Kodak's home town is Rochester, NY), awarded the contested patents to Kodak recently.
