Ireland to appeal tax ruling in Apple case

No kidding! If Germany pulled out with Ireland, there wouldn't be any European Union, and I'm sure it's something Germany has considered more than once.  They carry the EU.

Merkel concerned Apple ruling will affect European investment

Yes they do, it's called socialism, without a free market system.

Kind of like Russia, where the only people who live well are bureaucrats like him.

If Hillary had stuck with using Macs for servers, she wouldn't have been hacked in the first place!

I can easily imagine some government techie telling the Clintons that they needed to use that Dell Wintel server to be safe, which of course was just the opposite of safe and secure, hence she was hacked.

We could all have been spared this dog and pony show, if only the State Department stuck to using a Mac server at her house and kept upgrading it with new up-to-date Apple hardware and software.

All the Clinton's servers: Hillary first used a Power Mac tower for e-mail

Apple The Fashion Mall at Keystone

Above: The fenced-off staging area in front of the new Apple has been removed from the parking lot, and a forklift is piling up plywood in front of the new store on saturday.  Plywood has been laid out from the curb to the front door of the store, probably for protection while loading in furnishings, etc.

Above and Below:  Close-ups of the newly installed entablature show an almost bluish tint of white that may be a protective skin to be peeled-off after completion of construction.  The entablature is 6 - 8 feet in height and extends about two feet above the mall's roof line.

Finished, the Keystone Apple storefront should look a bit like the Memphis store, except it won't extend so far out in front of the glass, only about a foot or so.

It will also have 8 large maple trees in front of the store.

Some designer played with transformers when he was a kid and couldn't give up the dream.

They probably fired the guy who said, "No, that's a stupid idea!"
